UPNP is used by a lot of routers to provide special services like reconnecting. Most of the UPNP routers are supported by JDownloader without any additional tools.

If your router does not work by default with JD, you should try this little tool. It is written by Robert Pöhlmann.

• Access (log in to) your routers web interface settings with your web browser

• Once you've accessed the router interface settings locate its UPnP feature and enable it

• Enable the UPnP framework through your windows firewall

• Navigate to JDownloader reconnection settings, select the external tab and integrate (add) routerreconnect.exe.
