The best way to perform a Reconnect on a DLink 635/625/636 is Universal UPNP Reconnect. If you don't want to use UPNP, you can use this tool. It's written by JD Team and it performs a reconnect by using the routers webinterface.

1. Open advanced configuration →Reconnect
2. Set your interpreter:(windows: cmd.exe /c | linux: bash,..| mac: terminal)
3. Command is
   java -jar DLink635Rec.jar 192.168.1.1 PASSWORD
