JDownloader Updateserver BACK(20.9.2008)
After a servercrash, out updateserver has been down for a few hours. Now we are back, and everything works fine.
Rapidshare increased Speedlimit(2.9.2008)
Rapidshare Premium:
From now on, the trafficlimit is 10gb/day. (up to 50 gb)
Rapidshare Free:
The speedlimit has been increased to 27 kb/s - 213 kB/s.
JD Beta 02.272 released(13.8.2008)
There are a lot of changesthat come with BETA 0272. Unfortunately, some of them may cause problems while updating. If this affects you, you can download the upgrade here and extract it to your JD install-directory.
We remind you that the update also may reset your linklist and the configs.

Your support team had to struggle with a few peoples whose accounts seemed to be hacked. Thanks to Raymond.cc we now know that rapidshare.com changes weak passwords automatically and sends the following message to your email address.
We advise to check your passwords and your emails.

ARTWORK / GFC CONTEST - WIN RS PREMIUM ACCOUNTS (20.7.2008)
Yesterday we were happy to announce our JD artwork contest. For a week (until Sunday, July 27th) you can send in your videos, pictures, screenshots, etc of JDownloader. On Sunday, July 27th we will choose the 3 best contributions and reward each of them with a RS premium account.
Some suggestions for possible contest entries:
- skins & themes
- funny translations out for the ordinary(Latin, Ebonics)
- logos or banners caricatures
- photoshopped screenshots

DLC API v0.6
The DLC JDownloader API is a collection of PHP functions to create DLC, CCF and RSDF containers. Meanwhile, in version 0.65. The DLC API can be ordered for free in our support chat. It can be used by webmasters to create containers and link lists. Known services such as Linksave.in, or Crypting.it or using the API.
In version 0.65, some known bugs were fixes, that caused serverimcompatibilities. Moreover the interface has been simplified.

After RapidShare had to notice, that the Teabag captchas had been either too hard to readfor humans, or too easy for OCR programs, there is now a major structural change.
- Free User: download speed limited to 62.5 kbps (500 kbit / s).
- Free User: No traffic limit. Indirectly, the traffic is limited by the speed to 225 MB / hour.
- Premium users: There are now 50 GB Traffic / 5 days.
- Premium users: You now can earn up to 255 premiumpoints/day through premiumdownloads. The file size must be bigger than 3 MB. One free user can only generate 3 points per hour.
